Avalon Meta

Avalon Meta offers a product called "Scenes". Scenes is a white-labeleable platform where businesses can create and manage their communities. For more information on Scenes you can visit https://www.buildonscenes.com

 

As the Assistant Product Manager of Scenes I used to handle a variety of tasks, one among them being, the single point of contact for enterprise clients like Ankur Warikoo, Growth School, Monster India, U Next, GG Nation.

Here are some features that I have worked on at Avalon Meta. My involvement in the following was, brainstorming the user flow & edge cases, designing the feature with designers, communicating the requirements and designs to back-end and front-end developers via PRDs, and prioritizing these features based on deadlines & bandwidth.

Customizing onboarding flow (Custom Flow)

Designed the way user's signup into your community. With the Modular onboarding feature, one can now ask their community members specific questions For example- 1. Are you a beginner in trading? 2. Which college did you study in? Additionally post sign up, they have the option to accept or reject members into the community.

Flaunt your Social Profile

Consolidate one's social presence on Scenes. All one has to do is to add their social links to their scenes community profile. Anyone on the platform can check your Linkedin, twitter, facebook and Instagram.

Effortlessly share content to Linkedin

We understand how important LinkedIn has become in the social media game. You can now share any post/event on Scenes to Linkedin by hitting the share button on that post/event.

Pin important posts

Important information gets lost in the flood of incoming posts. As an admin, one can now pin a particular post and make it the topmost post in a particular channel.

Search anything on the platform

Do you want to recollect or discover posts, events, groups, and people? hit the search icon, and the search interface pops out.

This community search feature enables one to directly look for specific channels, categories, events, and keywords all across the community with a single tap.

Reorder channels and categories

Suppose you have created a text channel, calendar channel, and forum channel on scenes. One can easily reorder these channels by just dragging and dropping them in a sequence of your choice.

Apart from these, there are a few other internal tools that I built for Avalon Meta, namely.

  1. Admin dashboard - It can generate new community instances for the desired slug (For example - slug.scenes.social)

  2. Prioritization Dashboard - A dashboard to prioritize the backlog based on deal value, deadline, alignment, etc

  3. Alignment Dashboard - A dashboard that sends notifications to Devs, Sales, and Product team based on the change in client requirements.
